You’re not alone — and now there’s a team for that! The Project Planning Team (PPT) is a new opportunity for members to help dream up, shape, and develop real projects to improve APEX. Whether you’re brimming with ideas or just want to help bring good ones to life, this team is for members (not managers) who want to be hands-on in creating new value for the club.
We’re not a committee… We’re a team!
Unlike traditional APEX committees, the Project Planning Team isn’t tied to a specific realm like education or social events… It’s intentionally broad and flexible. There’s no standing agenda, no orders dictated from on high, and no leadership structure beyond the basic roles to keep meetings moving. It’s a space for open brainstorming, creative problem-solving, and collaborative planning, all powered by members — NOT by management.
Have you ever said, “I wish APEX would…”? This is your chance to help make it happen.
Show up with your big ideas, or dust off some old ones that APEX just hasn’t gotten off the ground yet. The PPT itself will set its priorities and develop these ideas into full-fledge project plans — ideally fast-tracking final approval from management and implementation.
From redecoration and accessibility upgrades to inclusivity initiatives, event enhancements, or just cool ideas APEX hasn’t thought of yet, the PPT is here to help turn “what ifs” into action.

Open to All APEX Members
The Project Planning Team is open to all current APEX members (not reciprocal members) except members except members of APEX leadership.
A single member of the Executive Committee or Board will be present, but only as a resource for you. They will be able to help answer policy questions or provide historical context that may help give your projects the best chance for success.
