Intro to Rope Bondage w/ Mr_Cannibal

Requirements: None

Materials:

• 1 piece of rope (any kind) at least 25’ long (there will be rope available to use.)
• Safety cutters (either knife or scissors) - (will also have available.)

Class Time: Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour

Lab Time: Remainder of scheduled event

Partner IS NOT Required for this class, can be done solo

Class will cover an in depth discussion on the following: why do we tie; what do we tie with; how to negotiate a rope scene; consent (including underlying power dynamics stated or implied); safety issues and how to handle them; physical issues and nerve/circulation information specific to tying (PDF will be available upon request,) and any other information that comes up during the discussion (questions are welcome and encouraged!)

The hands on portion of the class will cover the single column ties, and other ties as time allows.

Lab time afterwards will be available for attendees to practice, ask questions, and get feedback/pointers as needed. Ideally, everyone will leave the event with at least a basic understanding of the class materials.
