Meet APEX Management, committee representatives, and volunteer coordinators and learn how you can help with our daily operations and ongoing projects. Maybe you'll even have some suggestions for new ways to contribute to APEX!

Find Your Fit

Learn more about each of our committees and volunteer teams, and discover which ones might align with your interests and skills:

• Dungeon Monitors attend our parties, setting up and shutting down the space, assisting members when needed, supervising the space to ensure safety, and generally act as friendly faces and concierges for our members.
• Door Volunteers sit at the front desk for all member events, helping members to check in, processing new member registrations, handling various point-of-sale operations, and maintaining the front desk area during hours of operation.
• The New Member Orientation Team shares the duties of hosting new member orientations. These team members are often the first face of APEX that new members will meet, so it is important for them to be friendly and courteous, capable of making new members feel welcome, and communicating APEX rules and etiquette to set members up for succes at APEX.
• The Education Committee plans and implements all Monday Night classes, E.D.G.E. programs, Intensives, pre-party workshops, and other workshops and classes as needed. A wide range of effort is appreciated here, from finding knowledgeable presenters to keep the Education calendar full, to communicating and verifying information with presenters, to planning new classes as needed by APEX, to assisting in the set-up and shut-down of the space before and after every class.
• The Social Committee plans and helps to implement and staff all of our themed parties, Friday-night hosted parties, and non-play social activities. This might include assisting in decorating the space, finding and working with hosts to lead Friday-night parties, and running other social activities throughout the month.
• The Marketing Committee assists the Executive Committee and other committees in the marketing needs of the club and any relevant events. This includes everything from the APEX website, to social media, to printed and digital signage, and more. We're revamping a lot of our marketing processes, so volunteers with marketing, graphic design, or web/software development experience will be greatly appreciated!

...and that's not all! Opportunities also exist to help with dungeon decor, technology management, community outreach, and more.
