Parties & Socials
APEX’s parties and social events make up a critical component of our overall mission. APEX puts on an average 8-10 social opportunities every single month, and strives to provide a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for newcomers and experienced kinksters alike to explore their deviant interests. All parties and play activities are members-only, but we also offer a mixture of member and community-open social events.
Saturday Night Dungeon Parties
Every Saturday night, our club is open and the dungeon floor is waiting! With two floors, unique equipment, and the space to express yourself, you are assured of an exciting night at the dungeon! Come to play or socialize with your friends and make new ones!
Themed Parties
Themed parties are just like our normal Saturday night parties–with a twist! It’s not uncommon to see costumes, decoration, scenes, and even share food that ties into the theme. Participation in themed party activities are completely optional. Access to dungeon space will remain the same as for any Saturday night party, and there won’t be any restrictions limiting any type of play normally allowed in the dungeon.
Friday Night Hosted Parties
Occasionally there will be a Friday Night Hosted Party. These are usually restricted to a specific segment of membership or a specific type of play. Example: Women’s Parties, Men’s Parties, Primals Party, Under 40s, etc. These kinds of parties are never on Saturday Nights which will always be open to the entire membership.
Member Socials
In addition to our parties, APEX hosts a number of members-only socials every month. These events can vary wildly–from bingo, to crafting nights to “kinky summer camp”–but unlike our parties, these socials don’t involve kinky or sexual play. As such, our member socials are a great, low-pressure way to make new friends and spend time with old friends at APEX.
Community Socials
APEX hosts a number of socials and munches that are open to community. Socials are non-play events where APEX members, kinksters, and newbies alike can make friends and socialize. (“Munch” is another term for a social activity for people in the BDSM/Kink community that excludes play. Munches usually take place at a restaurant or other location that serves food.)
APEX currently hosts two of these events every month: A “brunch” munch at FEZ Restaurant & Bar; and a bowling social at AMF Lanes Tempe. These events take place in businesses open to the general public, so please dress appropriately and be mindful of your settings.
