The Arizona Power Exchange (APEX) is an fully volunteer-run organization, going all the way to the top, including management as well as the operational committees that handle the organization’s programming and activities. APEX Management consists of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the overall direction of APEX. The Board provides vision and oversight to the Executive Committee. Directors are members of the Corporation.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee (a.k.a. EC) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club. The EC executes the vision for APEX as provided by the Board. Officers of the EC are members of the Corporation.

Operational Committees
Beyond the Board and EC, there are a number of operational committees at APEX that handle more specific aspects of club operations, including planning and scheduling events and handling our maintenance, technical, and communication needs. All operational committees report to the Executive Committee.
AV/Tech Committee
The AV/Tech Committee is responsible for determining and maintaining APEX’s various audio-visual and technical needs. This includes management of our in-space technology, virtual studio setups, our concierge system, and our website and various other online resources.

Community Outreach Committee
The Community Outreach Committee handles public-facing events for APEX, including representation at broader community events such as Pride, as well as Support Functions such as S.I.G.s.

The Education Committee is responsible for all educational programming at APEX. This includes all core programming (Monday Night classes and EDGEs), as well as specialty programming such as Weekend Intensives.

The Marketing Committee works with APEX Management and other committees to provide consistent branding, marketing, and communication for APEX and our events and to increase engagement.

The Member Experience Committee oversees most of the public-facing volunteer positions at APEX, including Dungeon Monitor, Door, and Orientation Volunteers.
