Step right up! Test your freak! The circus is in town — and you’re the main attraction.
Join us for a night of spectacle, strangeness, and sexy showmanship at APEX’s “Circus Freaks” themed dungeon party! Clowns, ringmasters, lions and their tamers, and other human oddities are all welcome. This is your chance to dress the part, embrace the absurd, and find your place at the freak show!
We’re going to be setting up the selfie station for this party, too! From 8pm-10pm, capture your freaky side with all of your friends in the front room!
Potluck Theme: Carnival Cravings
What’s a circus without snacks? Bring your favorite carnival or fair-inspired treat to share — sweet or savory, nostalgic or freaky. From funnel cakes and corn dogs to popcorn, pretzels, and candied oddities, we’re turning the kitchen into a full-on midway feast. (Simple shareables like soda or cookies are great, too!)
Standard (pay-per-event) members who contribute to the potluck also get a discount at the door! Details below.
About Themed Parties
Themed parties are just like our normal Saturday night parties–with a twist! It’s not uncommon to see costumes, decoration, scenes, and even share food that ties into the theme. Participation in themed party activities are completely optional. Access to dungeon space will remain the same as for any Saturday night party, and there won’t be any restrictions limiting any type of play normally allowed in the dungeon.
Every Saturday night, our club is open and the dungeon floor is waiting! With two floors, unique equipment, and the space to express yourself, you are assured of an exciting night at the dungeon! Come to play or socialize with your friends and make new ones!
Door Discount
We’re excited to offer our “potluck discount” for our Standard (pay-per-event) members who participate in the potluck!
Here’s how it will work for Standard Members:
- Bring some kind of shareable food or beverage item to the party.
- Pay just $5 for admission instead of the usual $15.
This is something new we’re trying for a number of different reasons:
- We’re putting many more events on the calendar recently. While long-term, we believe this is a reason for members to consider an All-Access membership, we still want to give all of our members, including pay-as-you-go members, a chance to enjoy more of our new social functions.
- Our usual amount of food and drink donations have not been able to keep up with increased demand. Participating in our potlucks and pantry drives helps our club and our community.
- Life is expensive these days! We know everyone has had to make choices to adjust, and this can make it more difficult to justify paying for social opportunities (even though we all need them so much!) So we hope that providing an occasional discount for admission to parties will help keep the entire APEX community strong and healthy.
As with every new thing we try, we’re always open to feedback and ways to make things even better. The best places to provide that feedback are via emailing us at contact@arizonapowerexchange.org or attending our monthly Executive Committee meetings.

The Door Will Close at 10:00pm so our volunteers can enjoy the party!
All-Access Members: Use your fob to get in after 10pm.
FREE for All Access Members Always, $15 for Standard (Pay Per Event) or Reciprocal Members. You can renew at the door, and Pay Per Event Members can pay in person.
Please note: All attendees MUST be members. Guests are not permitted (unless you have already purchased an Ancillary Membership which is very uncommon).

About the Play Floor
- The main floor is only for those playing on the dungeon floor. Please use the covered walkway to get to the outside social area.
- Social space will be in the kitchen and outside (you need to be street legal).
- Water and food will be in the kitchen.
- If you would like to bring food or sodas to share, there will be a table in the kitchen for that.
