The APEX Makers’ EDGE is focused on fetish crafts: sewing, woodworking, leathercrafting, metalworking, electronics, chain mail, latex clothing, etc. If you do, or are interested in learning about, any sort of kinky crafting, then this is the group for you. We have show-and-tells, brainstorming sessions, and hands-on crafting demonstrations. Come to learn, teach and show off your work.
Depending on the activities planned for each EDGE, attendees may need to pay for materials upon entering. This cost may vary, but will typically fall in the range of $10-20. Please RSVP on FetLife if you are comfortable doing so, as it will help us determine the amount of materials needed.
Education will include:
- Basic shop/maker space safety to keep those digits for years to come
- Making, crafting, and machining practices even a novice can do
- Sourcing materials and choosing proper materials for use
- How to create art, even if you are not an artistic human creature
Attendees will be encouraged to bring:
- Readiness to learn and participate
- Payment for material fees
Facilitator Bio:
Master Crow has been an active member of the kink community in some variance of degree since 2009, with interest in sex topics and sex education since 2003. Crow has a wealth of knowledge in medical health, sexual health, and mental health related to his education and professional career. As well, his own hobbies and interests in the kink community have given him a vast array of experience he is will to share and teach others. Professionally, Crow has been the educator for many of his clients helping them to grow their own health and wellness. Master Crow is usually assisted in presentation by Slave Fox.
EDGE (Extended Development, Growth, and Education) groups are made up of APEX members who all share a common interest in learning, teaching, and developing skills. Each EDGE is a peer-to-peer learning environment that facilitates practice and sharing knowledge in a particular subject area.
