Mini Dungeon 101

Are you new to the world of BDSM & Kink or exploring outside of the bedroom for the first time? Perhaps you’re used to house parties or different types of venues. Maybe you’re new to APEX, or you’ve been coming for a while but haven’t quite figured out where you fit in.

Navigating a space like APEX for the first time can be intimidating. Our Mini Dungeon 101 is designed to help you become better-equipped and more comfortable at our play parties and other events!

A bite-sized version of our Dungeon 101, this workshop will focus on four key topics for people beginning their APEX journey:

• First, we’ll discuss the various forms of social etiquette the people practice at the dungeon, empowering you to put your best foot forward as you navigate our social events and spaces and meet new people.
• From there, we’ll move on to discuss consent, and absolute cornerstone of Apex and BDSM culture.
• We’ll move on to discuss the concept of vetting, the various practices people employ to evaluate potential play partners and beyond and to hopefully avoid red flags.
• Lastly, we’ll touch upon how to approach negotiation, and how to ensure as best as possible that informed consent is reached and all parties expectations are aligned.

But that’s not all… When the workshop ends, the party begins!

Our regular Saturday Night Dungeon Party starts at 8:00pm, and a hosted play space will be open just for Mini Dungeon attendees until 9:30pm. Other APEX members will be encouraged to stop in and show off their toy bags, and if new Tops are interested in pointers (or if bottoms are interested in tasters), this is the perfect opportunity to ask and to put your fresh Dungeon 101 skills to the test.

Mini-Dungeon 101 attendees who stay for the party will also have the option of wearing a wristband. This wristband will indicate to our members and DMs that you’re seeking conversation and socialization, and perhaps to extend you a little extra patience.

First-time Dungeon 101 attendees will also get free admission to the main party!

This is a great opportunity for anyone new to APEX or hoping to take their first steps into participating at our events. We hope to see you there!

FREE for All Access Members Always, $5 for Standard (Pay Per Event) or Reciprocal Members. You can renew at the door, and Pay Per Event Members can pay in person.

Please note: All attendees MUST be members. Guests are not permitted (unless you have already purchased an Ancillary Membership which is very uncommon).
